Skyhouse Canyon Lake
Set on a steep slope in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, the ultra-modern SKYHOUSE is an engineering marvel with sweeping views of Canyon Lake and the surrounding landscape. Although shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation are within easy reach, you may find you never want to leave this bright, airy sanctuary, high above the fray of everyday life.
Reaching this gorgeous hillside property is like ascending to a new world. As you drive up the increasingly narrow and winding paved road, everyday cares fall away. Soak in the views from the wraparound main deck, take a dip in the private pool, and catch some rays in a reclining lounge chair. Or fire up the grill for an al fresco meal as the sun sets over the hills below.
The multi-level house makes a carefully crafted design statement, with a stunning metal exterior and a light-filled interior. Features include exposed brick, granite, hardwood floors, and accents such as old maps and side tables made from vintage US Air Force radar equipment cases.
A 15- to 20-minute drive away, the town of New Braunfels is a vibrant historic district with many restaurants and your pick of shops and entertainment venues. Nearby Canyon Lake offers an abundance of water sports like power boating, skiing, sailing, and fishing, along with rafting and tubing on the Guadalupe River.
SKYHOUSE is in the sky, so railings are provided for your protection. But even the best built railings can't stand up to rough housing, brawling, or climbing. Most sensible people stay well clear of the edge. This is a case where it makes sense to be sensible.

Use of SKYHOUSE Septic System
Most of our guests arrive from urban areas and may not be aware of the use of a private septic system! The system works flawlessly if used properly.
- Please DO NOT use the toilet as a trash can.
- Please DO NOT put coffee grinds, dental floss, disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, tampons, cigarette butts, condoms, oil, grease, paper towels, or food scraps into the toilet or down the drains.
- Please DO NOT dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals into the septic system.
- Paint thinners, motor oil, pesticides, herbicides and bleach will kill all the beneficial microorganisms within the septic system.

Modern luxury meets new-urban charm in Town Creek, where the brand-new TCTX Urban Lodge awaits just minutes from the historic downtown.
New construction with a smart layout plus plenty of upgrades will feel welcoming to travelers of business and pleasure alike, and all will delight in the private courtyard and heated dipping pool on the open-air patio that feels like the best of the New Orleans French Quarter in Texas Hill Country.
TCTX Lodge is located in Town Creek, a vibrant mixed-use community and labor of love I've poured my soul into over the last decade. When we first dreamed up Town Creek, we imagined a walkable urban neighborhood with a sense of community – a place that felt like coming home. We took inspiration from some of the best new-urban developments around the country, our imagination sparked by the elements that guests loved best.
Soak in New Braunfel's German heritage and neighborly Texas vibe. Nearby, float down the river or visit the Hill Country Craft Beer trail, where you'll traverse the undulating hills and wildflower fields of Hill Country. Or get your dancin' shoes on and visit Gruene Hall, the country's oldest dance hall, where the infectious local energy spills forth late into the night.
Town Creek is a vision in the making, which means it's always growing and improving. A CrossFit gym is conveniently located next door, and we're eagerly awaiting the opening of southwestern grill Dos Rios just a block away.
It is a comfortable 10 minute walk to Downtown New Braunfels for an abundance of dining and entertainment options. Town Creek will soon have the Dos Rios restaurant within a short walk.
Gruene is a 10 minute drive with even more dining and entertainment options. San Antonio is 25 minutes away and Austin 45 minutes.
I will provide an access code for your door, so you are free to let yourself in no matter what time you arrive.
